Krynica-Zdrój is one of the most popular winter sport resorts in Poland.
The slopes of Jaworzyna Krynicka, Słotwiny and of the surroundings of Tylicz, Wierchomla and Szczawnik encourage those who like winter sports to actively spend their free time in the open air.
Wide range of activities on offer will satiate tastes of all those who like skiing, snowboard, snow scooters, dog sledding and horse-drawn sleigh rides on the top of hills.
There is also an indoor skating-rink in the town and a sledge slide on the hillside of the Park Hill.
Even when the snow is long gone you can’t complain about the lack of attractions in Krynica and its surroundings.
At the foot of Jaworzyna Krynicka there is a Ropes Challenge Course of Krynica, there are tennis courts in the town centre, ‘Paradise’ slides on the Park Hill and on the hot days there is a possibility to cool oneself off in an open-air swimming-pool.
Stunning views and landscapes are inviting to go walking along tourist (160 km/99,42 mi)
and educational trails, to ride along bicycle trails and to follow the Orthodox architecture trail.
