If you would like to see the local monuments, go for a walking tour along a tourist trail, we suggest equipping yourselves with the guides and maps available at the reception desk. Krynica and its vicinity are famous for their beautiful hiking trails, cycling and skiing. The Orthodox and Uniate churches, as well as other sacred structures, constitute some of its biggest attractions.
Krynica, one of the most famous health resorts, attracts tourists because of its valuable spring waters, the Spa Palace or Nikifor’s Museum. The modern ski runs on Jaworzyna are also a great attraction. For the skiing enthusiasts, 4 ski runs (with a total length of 5 km) have been put into use, including the longest one with a length of 2.5 km, extending from the Upper Station to the Medium Station in Czarny Potok. Cable cars are capable of transporting 1,400 people per hour; 6-person cars move with a speed of 5 m/s. Travelling by cable cars delivers plenty of impressions, because it provides a view of the entire Beskid Sądecki Mountains, and on a sunny day you may also see the Tatra Mountains.
The most modern indoor ice-skating rink is located in Krynica Zdrój. It is open all year round and, during winter holidays, it offers an ice rink for the youngest children. Toboggan runs and a cable railway to the Parkowa Mountain are also a source of interesting impressions.
